A few weeks ago we saw the video below taken in a barbershop in Kutztown, PA. When kids get their hair cut at City Cuts Barbershop, they are challenged to read out loud during the cut. The kids also get $3 in cash for reading during their cut! City Cuts encourages literacy and self-esteem for young boys by building reading fluency and public speaking skills.
